After searching for some more cancer cures, we decided to look in India, so we're back on track, and very excited. Manu and I will arrive Chennai late January and Sivam will join us the next day. So if anyone has news of a cancer clinic in India, or any other ideas that will help, please write to me,

Manu and I will stay two months, then come back and get another scan to see what is next. Send your prayers by turning these prayer wheels (not literally, I couldn't figure that out on the computer!) All the best, Cathy
I called to the Proton Therapy Center in Seattle to see if I could use that rather expensive therapy. They made an appointment for me, I called for my medical records, and we filled out a questionnaire. Then I got a phone call saying that I wouldn't be a good candidate for their therapy, since the cancer was a bit spread out. Sivam and I will go tomorrow to talk to them, and see if they have any other ideas.
I thought I had pretty much beaten this damn cancer (see my page on cancer), but my December 3 scan showed some growth, just as we were getting ready to go to India! We were all packed, had our tickets, then the monsoon rains came. Our flight was canceled . But it turned out for the best, so I could find out what was up, and what my options were. We may still go, since I have another appointment in mid March for a scan (they don't like to give them too close together). It would be great to be back in India. Let's hope!!!
Light a candle for me and say a prayer. Thank you so much, Cathy
